Hackfinity 2025 was designed as a 100% ideation-driven, prompt-exclusive competition. Participants explored how Agentic AI can understand a goal, coordinate work, and produce useful outcomes—putting the quality of the idea and the clarity of the prompt at the centre of the build.
The event was organised by the Department of Research & Innovation at SIMATS Engineering alongside ecosystem partners including IAAA, the StepUP Incubation Cell, and the AI Club.

Think before you code.
Round 1 was prompt-exclusive. Teams had to frame the problem, reason clearly, and shape an Agentic AI solution without relying on conventional coding.

Build at the speed of an idea.
Across 24 hours, participants used AI tools and vibe-coding workflows to move rapidly from intent to demonstration—learning through action at every step.

Students, mentors, researchers, organisers, and industry partners came together around one shared belief: fresh minds deserve a serious place to build what comes next.
